Studio time

Got to take a photo of a quick study I did awhile back. Oil on panel 9x12

Got a second sitting on this one. I'm not sure if one more sitting will do it, probably not.

Dark knight, and whatnot

We went sand checkout the new Batman a few days ago. It's easily one of the best in the franchise...much more into how I've always viewed the series (comics and animated), and less campy. You must see it on the big screen.

Started a new painting today

I'm thinking of making it into a business card. I'll post some in progress pics as it moves along.

Metal, til death

Someone linked this video the other day. Really cool to hear some Maiden done in a refreshing way!

Cool crow tattoo

This was his first tattoo, a sort of memorial for a firend who's passed. Thanks Richard.

Ganesh

I started this a long time ago, on a friend. Kenneth came back with his friend Lee-also a good guy, to get Lee a tattoo, and I finally got a picture of this. We had planned on a background, but this is probably as far as he's going to go.

Filip Leu site

Looks like Filip Leu and his family finally got a website up and running. He's easily one of my favorite tattooists. Check out their site!

Roseacae

Did this on Adrian's cousin. We're experimenting with traditional and "realism" and seeing how they play off one another.

God -vs- Adam

I started this piece a long time ago, and we;re just now getting back to work on it. It's needs some tightening up, but I think it'll turn out nice.

Figure drawing today

Bleu and I went to out 3 hour long pose today. Bleu did really good. I thought what I had done looked pretty good, until I hadn't seen it for a few hours. He loos like sort of an alien. The legs need to be longer, or possible bigger?? It was a fun class, though.

This is pretty funny

lol.

I was cruising around on the hard drive and I came across a funny pic of my wife, Bleu. Seeing as how it was at least 95 degrees today, I thought it funny to some across a cute pic of Bleu during the 2006 Blizzard. That's her little Neon, completely covered in snow behind her. Great pic :)

Done and done

Went ahead and cancelled my Cryspace account. It was a little anti-climatic when I got a message saying sometimes it takes up to 48 hours to be deleted. I was hoping for some sort of magical "POOF!". Oh well. Better luck next time

Late August Wyoming guest spot

I'm going to be tattooing at Sparxworx tattoo in Casper Wyoming from August 23rd through the 30th. Andy Barela from American Graffiti (505-523-0666) will be guesting with me. Anyone looking for work from either of us are encouraged to talk to Dana or Chris at Sparxworx (307) 237-3342. To see Andy's work, check out his myspace page: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewAlbums&friendID=166875134 Hopefully our visit will give Dana and Chris some much needed rest and we'll get to meet some cool people and do some cool ink.

Gotham Knight

I picked up this on Tuesday, but barely got around to watching it last night. This is a kick ass DVD, and anyone a fan of Batman will really get into this. It's a bunch of short stories from different anime directors. The best part is that Kevin Conroy is back again to do the voice of Batman. Anyone familiar with all of the animated series will be familiar with this voice. So, hell yes. Very kick ass.

The elusive double yawn!

I caught Picasso and Frida, obviously bored with my antics, doing the elusive double yawn. Behold!

So, here is some recent work.

The senorita is part of a leg project I'm doing on my homie Tiffany. The Skull and jawbone is 9x12", oil on panel. The feet are charcoal on pastel paper, drawn from life during class. The rose and skull is a allaprima quick-study, 9x12" oil on panel.
Sorry about the funky layout. I may take me some time how to get this whole thing to work out to
my advantage. I'll be posting some other works as I get the chance. Thanks for looking!

So,

I'm fairly certain I'm going to be killing my myspace account. I don't do much with it, other than check it way too much. I think this will be a better option. Here is a pic of a little work I did the other night. It's a rendition of "Quemada II" by Javier Marin. Check out some of his stuff here: http://javiermarin.com.mx/ The "english" option doesn't work.
